A Hungarian singer is suing Beyonce and Jay
Z for allegedly illegally sampling her voice
for their hit "Drunk In Love."
According to TMZ, Monika Miczura says the
couple along with producer Timbaland used 13
seconds of a 1995 single"Bajba, Bajba Pelem" in
the beginning of "Drunk" without her
permission by digitally manipulating her voice
with auto-tune.
Miczura says her song was about hopelessness
and didn't like the lyrical content of Bey's
single and accused her of "evoking foreign
eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics."
That's intense.
