Jada Pinkett Smith Gets Matching Tattoos With Daughter Willow

Pinkett Smith got matching ink with her co-hosts, daughter Willow and mom Adrienne Banfield Norris.

. The trio all opted for lotus designs on their forearms from famed tattoo artist Dr. Woo.

“Look what we did!!!! Thank you @dr_woo for your patience and generosity of your craft and spirit,” Jada, 49, captioned behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, adding, “Now I want a sleeve!!!!”

. The design depicts the symbolic flower in three different stages of blooming.

“The lotus represents spiritual enlightenment, and we hear this saying, like, ‘Through the mud grows the lotus,’” Willow, 20, explained on the episode.

“The bud to the little blossom to the bloom also, I feel like, expresses the spiritual journey, but also the three of us. I’m the youngest, my mom is the middle and Gam is the fully bloomed lotus,” she continued.

Wilow Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and Adrienne “Gammy” Banfield-Norris showed off their tattoos on Instagram.

“You have to go through the mud, the dirt, and still something beautiful is created, and that kind of describes my journey,” added Adrienne, whom her family calls “Gammy.”

“I’ve been through some really tough times, you know? But I’m still worthy. You know, and there’s still room for me to grow and change even now at 67. I’m still growing and changing and trying to be better. So getting the lotus was everything.”

Gammy Adrienne smiled during her tattoo with Dr. Woo.

“Willow was the only one of the group who already had tattoos, and recalled telling her mom she was planning to get inked three weeks before breaking the news to her dad, Will Smith, for fear of his reaction.

As it turns out, however, the “Men in Black” actor had words of wisdom to share:

“Everything’s in divine order. Your path is your path, and I just love you,” he said at the time, according to Willow
